I just purchased a digital food scale so I could begin to count macros. I have no idea what I am eating, how many grams protein, fat, fiber or carbs. I have an eating disorder that I struggle with at times. My eating is much better than it used to be as I strive to live/recover from my eating disorder. I need information on how to go about tracking macros with out triggering my eating disorder.

I’m not sure there are specific resources we’d recommend for counting macros with an eating disorder, in general. Additionally, different eating disorders and different individuals will likely require different approaches. It’s probably a good idea to use an RD who has experience with this sort of thing, which may be available through a referral from your physician. We also do this at BBM in our one-on-one coaching, but I don’t feel comfortable making general recommendations here with limited knowledge and no follow up.
