Assuming for some reason I had a large caloric deficit on Monday but ate normally on Tuesday, to what extent can my workout on Wednesday be affected? If so, would it help by eating more than usual on Tuesdays to compensate?
-
Over the weekend and till today I have been getting less sleep and depression symptoms. Is it possible a workout with the ‘wrong’ stress caused this?
-
Can, say a lower body workout with the ‘wrong stress’ maybe due to an overshooting of RPE or too much volume cause an immediate 20% regression in strength in my upper body lifts?
-
In what kind of situation would a One Lift Per Day program be better than a full body workout? For e.g. we would put the Squat and its variants in the Bridge into the same day without cutting any volume/lifts. Same with the Bench and Deadlift.
-
Any potential effect would be much more psychological than biological/physiological. So I wouldn’t assume there’s going to be any effect at all.
-
I can’t answer this. If you’re feeling depressed, I’d recommend a medical evaluation.
-
Probably not.
-
I can’t think of a situation where we’d do this.
