Modifying The Bridge to keep increasing numbers on the PC

So… I’ve finally moved on from The Texas Method because I couldn’t recover.

At the end of TM, my stats were
Squat: 265lbs 5RM
Deadlift: 270lbs 5RM
Power Clean: 150lbs 3RM

As you can see, my power cleans are roughly 55% of my deadlift.

How should I continue doing power cleans in Bridge 1.0?

I read Austin’s reply to someone about doing 6~8 sets of doubles @8, but I also read Jordan’s reply to someone else to carry out the power clean as a novice type lift and do 5×3, increasing the load by 2.5~5lbs per week. As someone who is not coming off of NLP, what set×rep scheme @what RPE would you have me do power cleans? My goal is to power clean 225lbs. Thank you!

I’d probably still stick with my suggestion.

@Jordan_Feigenbaum may disagree and/or still stick with his recommendation.

The point is, there’s no clear “right” answer here in terms of those tiny details. As long as you’re 1) power cleaning, 2) fairly regularly, 3) fairly heavy, you should observe progress.

Thank you! I will definitely try doubles!
