You have talked at length about how leucine and BCAAs in general can really only trigger MPS once we have been resensitized after 3-5 hours between meals. Does that model of needing to hit a threshold to trigger a response and then resensitize translate when we look at other nutrients as far as nutrient partitioning (with a different mechanism of action of course)?

Sorry about that. You have said that in order to trigger MPS we need to consume a certain level of leucine at one time. I am just wondering if any other nutrients have a similar effect, triggering certain physiological responses (in terms of how the body uses specific macros) only when consumed in a certain amount at one time.
