My Deadlift is mostly lower back

So i’m currently in week 4 of the Bridge V1 and the heavier my deadlifts get the more it gets into my lower back.
My set up feels okay, but as soon as I initiate the movement, my lower back comes loose and I feel it there throughout the whole pull.

Now i’ve heard Rippetoe talk about coming down weight in the movement and the working on form from there, how do I program this into the bridge? Is it possible? I just know I can’t keep lifting heavy like I am

My current working set is 3x5 128kg, and my warm up at 100kg was much better, but i think my hips are coming too low
I’ve watched all of Alan’s videos on the DL and the Austin’s follow up, I think I can set up okay, but as soon as I pull, it all goes to shit.

I’ll post videos if people need to see them

Thanks
Kurtis

If you want to do this on the Bridge, then you need to use “technique RPEs”. Basically, use weights that let you maintain the correct technique, where “RPE 10” is technical failure (i.e., back rounding), not absolute failure.
