Need advise

Last September, I tossed my reserve while being very low. There was no sufficient height for the parachute to stabilize above my head. So, I hit the ground hard and fractured my heel and L1.

The fracture was multi-fragmented. I underwent a surgery and had four titanium pins inserted in an attempt to reduce it. But, the fracture was not reduced correctly. Therefore, I have a chance of developing arthritis. I have also experienced some loss of articular movement, above all lateral movements of the foot.

My best friend asked me to undergo a chiropractic treatment from Burlington. I have since started to fly again with boots and extra care while landing. Months have passed since the surgery and I am still hobbling a bit. How was your recovery process? Any useful tips?
