Prepping to start powerbuilding 2 and trying to wrap my head around how to calculate the weight when incorporating bands. So I put my 1 rep max into the calculator and get a sense of where I should be for each set. Do I put those numbers on the bar plus the band? Or do I factor in the band to reach those numbers as close as possible? For what its worth I have a pairs of the red, blue, and green rogue monster bands.
I wouldn’t use the calculator at all, but rather pretend you’ve never done the exercise before, make small jumps during warm-ups, and use RPE to determine your loading.
