Dr. Feigenbaum and Baraki,
Thank you for all you do in promoting strength training and supporting evidence based practices. I am a strength & conditioning coach and I know there is a lot of BS in the S&C profession but I keep seeing more coaches who I like and respect promoting “proper breathing exercises” to promote recovery or improve thoracic mobility which will then supposedly improve their athletes training. It seems like silly BS to me but I would love to hear your thoughts. Am I missing something or is this just one more silly thing coaches are promoting that makes them seem smart but is a waste of time?
Thank you for your thoughts and time,
Nate
