Exercise in general is beneficial.
However, as usual, the dosage (particularly chronic dosage) probably matters – sustaining extremely high doses of training beyond an individual’s level of adaptation likely has some downsides.
We do not have concerns about people continuing to train (or initiating training) during the current pandemic.
