Hello, in the bench and press plugin, would it do any harm if I occasionally (once every 3-5 workouts for example) threw in an RPE 10 on the last set of 5 sets of 5 for bench or 6 sets of 4 for overhead press? My purpose behind this is to make sure I complete all prior sets with at most an RPE 8 by performing 7 or more reps on the last set of bench or 6 or more reps on the last set of overhead press, as the previous sets would ideally feel easier than the last set. Also it would help me get a better picture on the feel of my RPE 8,9 and 10 for the future. Thanks
We would not recommend that in this context. Please do not modify the program. You can switch from LP whenever you want also.
