Shoulder dislocation

Hi everybody.
Male 24 78kg.
I have dislocated my left shoulder two times in the past(about half a year ago and a year and a half ago), and both times I had to go to the emergency room to get it relocated.
Today during bedtime activities I put it in a weird position and it popped(due to the pressure applied to it) out and back in. I have dislocated my right shoulder 4 times so I know how it feels when the shoulder goes out of the socket. I’m guessing that I should see a doctor for further evaluation is it safe to train in that period and also when do you recommend surgery? I want to note that the first time my left shoulder popped out was during a quite heavy incident the second time I just tried to grab something in front of me and just reached out too quickly. I did an MRI but I haven’t gone to a doctor yet to explain my readings. They are long and end with a conclusion:
“Partial juxtainsertion damage to the supraspinatus tendon without “impingement” Mild synovial reaction. Despite the anamnesis, no Hill-Sachs damage is evident.” (Note that this is my translation. In my country medical documents are written quite weirdly.)

Thanks so much for the great content you put!

Glad you find the content helpful!

Yes, you should ideally see a physician at this point. Unfortunately we are not able to provide surgical advice for you via the forum here, though. That would be more appropriate for a consultation with a member of our rehab team to discuss your symptoms, MRI findings in more detail, and provide recommendations from there. We also don’t have quite enough information here to provide you with individualized training advice, either.
