What is the truth about the nutritional/health benefits of honey? Specifically is it an acceptable sugar substitute for a Type 2 Diabetic. I will usually have between two and three TBS per day divided into two doses.One dose in my oatmeal and one in my yogurt. I see so much conflicting data that I am not sure what to believe. Some say it is no better or even worse than sugar and others that is second only to fairy dust in its benefits. Please provide your as always, straight no BS answer.
