Undiagnosed seminoma??

I am an untrained distance runner. 5’8’’ 56 yo. Began sslp jan 18 @157lbs. Didn’t gain weight until Dr Feigenbaum gave me some obvious info I didn’t want to hear on Feb 4th. That’s when I began starting nutrition. 165lbs today and progressing nicely on sslp.
I asked my MD to check my testosterone at my annual physical on Jan 25 (before hearing your podcasts). Never had a baseline. Came back 695 ng/dL. She says too high and wants redraw soon.

  1. Is this high?
  2. Could it be result of “clean” lifestyle and newly lifting heavy (for me)?

I ingest very little sugar and alcohol. I had been intermittent fasting for years (but quit now). Super low stress.
Other labs cool including thyroid panel. I have been experiencing periodic, spontaneous, magnificent erections.

Last question:

  1. I’ve been resting for 5 plus minutes between sets. “stuff” is getting real now. How long can I extend the rest?

Thank you. You people are the best…Tony from North Jersey

  1. No
  2. Could what be the result of “clean” lifestyle? Your testosterone level in the normal range? I suppose so.

I have been experiencing periodic, spontaneous, magnificent erections.

Sounds awesome.

There aren’t any hard “rules” on this stuff. I think up to 8 minutes or so is fine. Once you’re doing 10-15 minutes between sets … it’s probably too heavy for multiple sets.

And where did this “seminoma” idea come from??

My brother in law is a surgeon in another state.

Thank you very much. You are terrific resources and deserve the best of everything.

testsnip.PNG Lab report was misleading. Big lab company too.
