I am an untrained distance runner. 5’8’’ 56 yo. Began sslp jan 18 @157lbs. Didn’t gain weight until Dr Feigenbaum gave me some obvious info I didn’t want to hear on Feb 4th. That’s when I began starting nutrition. 165lbs today and progressing nicely on sslp.
I asked my MD to check my testosterone at my annual physical on Jan 25 (before hearing your podcasts). Never had a baseline. Came back 695 ng/dL. She says too high and wants redraw soon.
- Is this high?
- Could it be result of “clean” lifestyle and newly lifting heavy (for me)?
I ingest very little sugar and alcohol. I had been intermittent fasting for years (but quit now). Super low stress.
Other labs cool including thyroid panel. I have been experiencing periodic, spontaneous, magnificent erections.
Last question:
- I’ve been resting for 5 plus minutes between sets. “stuff” is getting real now. How long can I extend the rest?
Thank you. You people are the best…Tony from North Jersey
