Upper trap development

Hi Doctors,

I seem to recall Jordan mentioning deadlifts and ohp as being good for upper trap development. Instead of deadlifts, I’m doing RDL 2x/week (3x8 reps @6-9, 3x12 reps @6-9). Do you think these RDLs would have similar hypertrophic results to deadlifts fro my upper traps?

I think that any sort of heavy pull is likely to drive some growth there, sure. If this is something you’re really looking to address, shrugs would likely be better than RDL’s.
