Hello, Im looking for some help. Im 34, very active and have been an athlete my entire life. Ive been dealing with this my whole life but as I get older it seems to be getting a little worse, Allergies. Not just watery eyes and sniffles, Literally hard sneezing every 5-10 seconds to the point my chest hurts the next day. I have pretty aggressive drainage to where its best to stick tampons in my nose. This will last about two days, medications don’t seem to phase it. I’ll be bed ridden day of and crazy lethargic the next day. Also I get colds and small bugs frequently almost once every 5-6 weeks. I just can’t keep healthy. I work hard(construction), lift weights and train Brazilian jiu jitsu. My sleep is sub par, typical 5 hours a night but I’m not "exhausted ". Is this an immune system problem? I’ve seen DR. about it before and they just throw nasal sprays and pills at me. Can you recommend a test or something or start narrowing something down in my environment?
Sorry woolfypoo, this is probably not something we can thoroughly flesh out on an internet forum. It is unlikely that you have an “immune system problem”, but again, this is not enough information for a complete opinion on the matter. I’d recommend getting evaluated by a physician.
