Sick over and over again

I just read Conor Mcclure’s recent post “unlucky or immunocompromised” but thought I was gonna ask this one anyway. I have just gotten sick for the 3rd time in within the last ~10 weeks. Never something bad, just always a runny nose with a cough(coughs are and always have been pretty intense for me, so not just a bit of a cough now and again) and also have a headache and some light fewer now. As I mentioned in a previous post I usually get these symptoms around 5 times a year, it’s already been like 8 times this past year. Afaik I’m a healthy 19yo male, training around 14h a week(mostly RT and wrestling), with my wrestling practice often being pretty affected. This obviously bothers me a lot, so I’d ask if it would be beneficial to go see a physician about that, since there have also been 2 instances of me being sick for several months, one 5 the other 6 years ago.

Also, I’m someone who’s often hot, so I’m one of those guys that wears shorts basically all year round. I’ve always dismissed this as pseudoscience, but could that play a role?

While I can’t say whether an evaluation will turn anything up, it would be reasonable to check in with your physician for the same sorts of things I mentioned in that thread.

It is probably not related to your perception of warmth.
