I’m am a 20-year-old guy with a current bodyweight of 240. I weight train 6 times a week with little to no cardio. I am currently eating way below my caloric maintenance at about 1200-1500 calories per day. I noticed that I have not been losing any weight for the past 2-3 weeks. I was wondering if I should add cardio to my schedule or if I need to start eating more to boost my metabolism.
You’re not eating below maintenance level on a consistent basis, which is evidenced by you not losing weight.
I do think you should be doing conditioning to meet the current physical activity guidelines, in addition to finding a dietary pattern that you can adhere to and produces weight loss
