This is my first post here, and I’m not sure I’m doing it right, but maybe someone can give me some advice regarding whey protein. I’m lactose intolerant so I have a difficult time finding proteins that That don’t wreck my stomach.
I’ve figured out that hydrolyzed whey protein isolate products don’t cause me any stomach discomfort, but every product is outrageously expensive or full of sketchy looking chemicals. What’s the point of taking protein for the purpose of improving overall health and physical fitness, if you’re dosing yourself with toxins?
What is a company I can trust? And if that’s too direct a question and difficult to answer, what should I look for on a label to avoid ingestion of carcinogens. Is hydrolyzed whey a hyped fad, without any real benefit? Thank you! I appreciate any advice anyone can offer me.
