Yard Work Conditioning


I always wondered how hard I’m working outside of the gym. I decided to wear my Polar H10 while I did some yard work yesterday. I would never have guessed I was working at Z4+!

I’m sure that spike at 27 minutes isn’t accurate but still - decent workout!

We had a very hot summer last year here in Northern California foothills. I lost 3 oak trees on my property and, with chainsaw work and lugging around wood, my watch logged me in Z5 for many minutes and Z4 for a lot more. My property has a lot of slopes, too, so that helped in kicking the heart into turbo :fire:

No doubt with any reasonable amount of movement, weight, and slopes it’s def some good zone working coming up!
