100g protein shakes

Hi Jordan,

I am currently on a weight loss diet, at a bodyweight 246lbs. I try to take in around 225gr of protein. The question is, is it ok if I drink 100g in one protein shake or would that much protein not be absorbed efficiently enough which would mean I am losing more muscle mass than necessary?

Is it okay? Sure. It’s not harmful to you and you’re absorption is likely just fine.

That said, I don’t see a need for taking that much protein in one meal. I’d split it up over more meals.
