I remember reading somewhere that the intestines can only absorb 10-20g of protein per hour from a whey protein shake because it basically passes through so quickly so doing say 2 scoops @ 20g/each in 1 shot is basically like throwing 1 scoop out the window whereas something like a piece of steak digests much slower & your body utilizes much more of the nutrients, any truth to this?

There is zero truth to this. Even with protein intakes up to 400g/day the fecal protein content measured via 24 hour stool collection is < 6g of protein.
The body is good at using what we feed it

I can’t remember, just an article I came across googling & I’ve never heard of that before so I just wanted to know if their was any truth to it bc I always do 2 scoop shakes. Thanks for the response
