Hi there Doctors. I am currently doing your 12 week strenght template. Template works good with rest of my day and I get all training days in without trouble including day with GPP. However I have one question, I have run it now for 4 weeks, and my soreness after sessions are the same as it was first week. Never experienced this before usually with new program I am sore first week then it goes away. I might add i come from bulgarian light type training 6 days a week, the volume was offcourse extreamly low last 6 month. Volume now is in comparison extreamly high, but I was thinking after 4 weeks of exposure I should be able to adapt somewhat atleast. I dont really mind the soreness just thought it was littlebit out of the ordinary. Any thoughts would be appreciated. By the way I love to hate the 303 squat variation… this must be as close to torture as it gets without actually being torture.
Hard to say for sure (since the perception of “soreness” can be different among people), but it’s possible that the increase may have been too much, too quick for you compared to your prior level of training adaptation.
