Is there a % of 1RM that you guys consider there to be an inflection point in skill acquisition and strength gains for a given lift? I have heard 70% and 80% thrown around in different circumstances on your podcast and the data driven strength podcast and am a bit confused. I’m sure there are gains to be made at even lower percentages, but is there a number we should try to stay at or above when the aim is skill acquisition? also if there is a podcast I should go back and listen to would appreciate where to re-look. thanks.

It’s all made up, but executing singles above ~85% probably works best for generating skills specific to maximal strength. Lower intensity stuff transfers as well, but probably not as much. Noting how our templates are programmed exemplifies this.
