When doing 3-0-0 tempo squats should the weight be lighter to ensure it’s a quick 0-0? I feel like its taking me a lot longer to get up. Maybe like I’m doing 3-0-3 instead. I felt like it was harder to gauge rpe because at 135lbs it felt like a 5 or lower but at 185 went a lot slower getting back up.
Not necessarily, as your normal squat tempo should be “0-0-0”, which will sometimes low down on the way up.
