AC Separation

Hey guys

I just recently wrecked on my motorcycle. X-ray revealed a grade 3 AC separation. Would the correct thing to do would be to continue to train with what range of motion I can reasonably handle at a load I can reasonably handle? I’m post SSLP and the bridge 1.0, currently working on Barbell Medicine Time crunch. Should I continue with the time crunch program, but just alter the weights for pain tolerance? What is the right course of action with torn ligaments as opposed to just training through pain?

A grade 3 ACJ separation is a significant injury, but the majority can be managed non-surgically.

I would agree with your plan to adjust the weights down (potentially significantly) based on pain tolerance.
