Currently doing the hypertrophy program and my Deadlift and bench are increasing regularly. However, my squat and press are stalled and sometimes decreasing. I’m assuming that I need more stress on them movements but not sure how to implement it. Any hints On how to go about it? Thanks.
I don’t know if I’d necessarily come to that conclusion, as that template isn’t really designed to drive strength gains in the squat, bench, deadlift, and press in the short term. Rather, it’s to set you up for some nice PR’s when things get more specific in rep range, exercise selection, intensity to driving strength improvements.
I don’t think I would recommend adding more volume on them during the relatively short training period your first go around.
