After a long lay-off, what do?

Greetings, BBM team.

I’m currently in mandatory military service. I had not trained for 6 months, then started training about a month ago.
I’ve already run beginner prescription.
I plan to run it over several times, then move on to bodybuilding program.

Should I maintain aerobic training frequency, duration same on beginner template ‘Week 1’ when I run it over?
(2x times, 30mins)

Thank you for the wisdom, in advance.

p.s. I’ve just ordered my first peri-rx, whey-rx. Can’t wait to try it!

I would end up running phase II and III of our beginner template and then, when no longer making progress, move onto the BB template. I would do the GPP programming from the BB template when doing that template rather than carry over the stuff from the Beginner Template.

I wrote the question wrong. I wanted to edit it, but couldn’t.
Thank you for the reply. I would try that way.

One more additional question,
I think I don’t have enough leg strength to do stationary bike as LISS modality(Muscles get tired before respiratory does).
Would you recommend ‘brisk walking’ over cycling in this case?

Thanks.

I don’t think that’s likely at all, particularly if you’re able to resistance train (and can walk briskly). I wouldn’t expect your cardiorespiratory system to be “tired” during LISS either, rather your breathing rate should be slightly elevated above normal.

Thanks for the explanation in detail !
It seems I have a tendency to overshoot stuffs. :o
