Interested for your opinion regarding a high level range of age appropriate types of exercises/training for kids. E.g. 3-13 yr - body weight and cardio based, 13+ introduce weight/barbell work, etc. I’m mostly concerned with at what age weight training like sled-push, dumbbell or barbell work should be introduced without impacting their development in a negative way. Parents (and kids) love the idea of them being involved from an early age but I want to make sure the programming is age appropriate. If there are reputable studies you can point me to that would be a bonus. Thanks!
