Does doing calf exercises like standing calf raises or seated calf raises improve ankle dorsiflexion?
They would likely increase (not sure improve is the best word here) ankle dorsiflexion active ROM to that which is used during the exercise.
FWIW, I’d bet you don’t need more ankle mobility though.
