Back Tightness Post Sciatica

Hey all,

About 4years ago I developed sciatica in my right glute due to my knees caving in during a squat. I attempted to ignore this injury for far too long until having the sciatica resolved with some heavy spoon work done by a PT (2 years ago). However, due to my ignoring (and continuing to lift heavy during my injury time) I developed asymmetric strength in my left glute, left ham, and right lower back. I cannot for the life of me develop strength in the respective opposite sides and resolve my lower right back tightness (which to me is more pressing).

Conventional squats and deadlifts exasperate the lower back tightness. Additionally, I tend to lean to the left side (stronger glute) when I squat.

Any advice? Bulgarians? Machines? Reverse Hyper? Other alternatives?
