Beginner program - hip discomfort

Hi BBM crew,

I am currently in week 4.3 of beginner program. E1RMs for Bench, Squat and Deadlift in kg are 107, 126 and 149.

Around week 4.0, I started feeling discomfort in both hips (~3 weeks ago). I feel it the most in flexed position when I stand on one leg and raise the other knee high above my hip (hip flexion).

One change that I made to original program is that conventional deadlift is replaced with trap bar deadlift (my back always feels weak when doing conventional so I can’t load it properly to stimulate muscles).

What would you advise here? Should I lower the intensity for a while or maybe try with a different exercise selection?
