Currently on Phase 2 of the Beginner Template.
Im still using multiple warm up sets to get to the prescribed RPE. This can sometimes mean I will do a set of what I think is an RPE 7 only then to find that the subsequent set is really closer to a true RPE 7. A similar situation can occur when I think Ive done an RPE 8 and then find the next set at increased weight is also RPE 8. So then have to do another set to get a true RPE 9.
Should I still log all sets above RPE 6+ as it says in the Beginner Instructions PDF?
This is obviously going to make a difference in tracking actual volume over time as I will be logging more sets than prescribed.
