Belt Degredation

I have a 15+ year old 10mm double ply inzer forever belt. Recently I started noticing some very localized fraying, with the stitching starting to come undone and the seams starting to split. Performance wise it is still perfect, but I’m concerned that it’s on its downward spiral towards retirement. This one took me over a year to break in to get to its level of performance and Id rather not get to the point where I have to replace this worn in suddenly with a new one, but also dont want to go through the ball ache of breaking in a new one in preparation if the issues Im seeing are just cosmetic.

Yea, I haven’t been happy with any Inzer products I’ve had. Looks like you’re going to need a tailor or similar to try and repair it or get a new belt. I’ve had my Best Belts belt for 10 years now. Pioneer and Cardillo make some great stuff as well

Not what I wanted to hear as I really dont want to have to go through the time and hassle of breaking in a new one. But I’d rather have one ready and broken in if this one is going to suddenly become unusable. I’ll look at the options you suggested. Cheers.
