Belt squat / leg press alternatives

Is split squat a good alternative to belt squat/ leg press? Because on the bridge 3.0 day 3, exercise 3 says: “Leg Press, Belt Squat, or HBBS (prefer leg press or belt squat)”…but I workout in my garage and I don’t have access to a belt squat machine nor a leg press (and I do HBBS as my normal squat exercise)

A split squat or box step up would be fine. If you can fashion a hatfield squat, that’d be kosher too.
