Hey up Docs,
When benching what are the advantages to pressing the bar back towards the rack - and over your shoulder joint - between each rep, rather than pressing the bar straight up and down over your chest?
I’ve seen on some of your training vlogs and your bench press prescription video that not pushing the bar back towards the rack can cause you to fail a rep - but why exactly is that?
Keep up the good work with your content! I’m always telling people in the gym to check BBM out, infact I may soon have to invoice you for advertising fees ![]()
Cheers guys!
