Does blending fibrous fruits and veggies into a smoothy drastically change how that fiber behaves in the body? Am I fooling myself into thinking I’m getting more fiber than I actually am when I throw a bunch of strawberries and blackberries into the vitamix along my whey powder for a quick post-training meal?
Eh, not really. That said, I probably wouldn’t use a ton of fruit for carbs post workout if given a choice.

Would juicing be a different story in regards to the fiber? I think I read a while back that the juice doesn’t have any fiber. Lots of people continue to get me into the “Juice Craze” because it’s just like eating fruits and vegetables. Curious on what your thoughts are.
