Dear Dr. @Austin_Baraki ,
Almost 9 months ago I did a lab test and my C.P.K was reported to be high (434 U/L). Since I was taking statins, the GP adviced me to stop taking statins and do another test of liver enzymes plus cholesterol in a few months and then replace statin with rosuvastatin. A few days ago I went to her to prescribe me a lab test and she told me that I need to avoid training for at least a week. Is that necessary? Can’t I just do the test after a low-stress week of the bridge?
I would take at least 72 hours off from training prior to getting this lab test done.
