Caloric intake while gyms are closed

Hi BBM,

Hope everyone is safe during this crazy time.

I was on week 3 of the old program Jordan wrote for Scivation before all the gyms here in Toronto decided to close. I was running it at a slight deficit and was seeing good results - wasitline dropping while maintaining the same bodyweight and my bench was trending up after being on a plateau for months. Would you recommend that I stay at the same caloric intake while all I can do now are body weight exercises? Also, creatine. Do I maintain or stop taking it all together? I can still do LISS since I have an elliptical at home.

Thanks in advance.

Best,
Rick

I would keep taking creatine and maintain the current calorie intake

Adding on here, want to get your take on my nutrition approach during this time. I’m mostly keeping my calorie intake the same, but also know that my energy expenditure is not the same as it was for home workouts relative to barbell training, plus my daily steps are way down (use to average 15-20k per day, now am more in the 5-10 range at best), work stress is actually up a bit with more time spent sitting/in front of a computer, and not as easy access to healthy “snacks” as I used to have when I was in the office.

Is the best thing here to do just monitor weight over time, and if I’m gaining more than I’d like to (my intent is mostly to maintain weight during this period), should I just experiment cutting carbs/fat accordingly while keeping protein intake the same according to TBAB macros? Would like to retain as much muscle during this period as possible but not add body fat.
