Anyways is he stating that a slow eccentric is more optimal for hypertrophic response as long as volume is equated for.
So in a sense slowing down the lowering phase of a lift give more Gainzzz?
Also do we have to give the “bodybuilding gym bros” a point (I like proving them wrong) because they are always doing some sort of tempo work while going to or past failure?!?!
All jokes aside maybe I don’t pick up what he was getting to in that post.

Yea, I don’t think we agree on slowed eccentric portion of a lift reliably generating greater hypertrophy responses. That said, I’m not married to this either, given the state of the evidence.
