The Powerbuilding Template has the competition 1ct pause as the standard bench. I’m not really interested in ever competing, just general strength and health. I’ve been doing a touch and go bench for years. Is there a significant strength or hypertrophy benefit in adapting to the 1ct pause? I’m willing to try if it will have a real impact. I’ve just always assumed the pause was a competition standard to rule out bouncing. Please correct me if I’m mistaken. Thanks!
Nope, no difference. You can do touch and go if you like.
