Couple of Creatine Questions

I stopped taking creatine around 2 months ago. There wasn’t any good reason for doing so, I just stopped.

I’m currently in a weight stabilization period so I’m monitoring my weight closely. Should I expect to gain some weight if I start taking it again daily, or should I try to take it only after workouts?

I lost a couple of pounds on a few of my lifts towards the end of my recent diet, which I attributed to the lack of energy caused by my deficit, but could the lack of creatine have played a role? Should you expect to lose some strength if you stop taking creatine?

I would expect a small bit of weight gain from intramuscular water and yes, stopping creatine can reduce performance as it increases performance in about ~66% of folks who take it.

Dr, are there any commonalities seen in those who don’t respond well to creatine? Or could it be just about anyone of any ethnicity and background, and the best bet is to just supplement and see for yourself?

I’m not aware of anything with a predictive value outside of a muscle biopsy.
