Covid 19 realisation.

Hey BBM members,

so who else has been surprised how weak they are at body weight home workouts ?

I know it has been said many times that when strength training you get stronger at that movement and rep range so I can bench 160kg x1 for a 1RM so thinking I could bust 100 push ups without a problem was actually a lot further from the truth I only managed 56.
i haven’t done push ups in over a year or if not more.

i also had a go at what I saw Jordan do on IG hand stand push ups managed 3 and omg that was hard! Lol.

anyone else realise that being strong at bench, squat and deadlift doesn’t always mean you will be super strong at another exercise ?

really has proven to me that all because you are strong at a certain exercise or rep range doesn’t always mean you will be automatically stronger at another exercise.

hope everyone is managing to get something in during this terrible time!

In the spring, most countries of the world declared a regime of self-isolation with varying degrees of severity. But mass events were banned, and theaters and fitness clubs were closed almost everywhere.I need physical activity, because because of office work, I am generally sedentary, I also want to do something, I am tired of being a person without hobbies and activities. But the quarantine has completely baffled me. All the halls closed and the only activity was going to work as renovate offices Netfloor USA for COVID-19 and keeping employees apart helped keep employees healthy.

It might be a good idea for you to spend some time reading the forum before you make confident assertions here. You’ll find that what you said up there is very much at odds with the knowledgeable members here.

Can you give an example of a body weight motion that is “not safe at all” under all circumstances?
