I hope you’re doing well. I saw a video that you posted a while back on diet soda. I never had a chance to watch it, and now I cannot find it. Can you provide me with a link? I need to know how bad I’m killing myself with all of the delicious and energizing diet Mountain Dew that I drink.
Thank you so much for sharing the link. I made the brave attempt to listen to this at work, and unfortunately most of what I was able to hear (over my actual work…) dealt with sugary drinks, diabetes, the skinny patient in the bed, and moderation. Unfortunately, I must have missed the discussion on diet drinks.
So my opinion is that, based on my reviews of various websites over the years, I have not found any strong evidence to indicate that aspartame/diet drinks cause cancer, dementia, etc. I have read a lot about some very scewed studies with rats eating 1000x a reasonable serving and experiencing issues that were potentially connected. I also read that aspartame is a chemical that’s been studied more than most others, if not all others. But I also know that there are continuing studies on the subject. And it’s entirely difficult to keep up with all of them. So, are there any that support the idea that these diet drinks are deleterious to our health? May I continue to rebuff these naysayers who harass me every time I pick up a can of diet Mountain Dew? I like to ask people for a link to their support, but I haven’t received anything compelling yet.
Yes, that’s exactly what I was hoping to hear. I am tipping my diet Mountain Dew glass to you!!!
This is the one “edible” item that universally seems to be a focus for people. The vast number of people seem to think you’re inviting death with every sip. Anyhow, THANK YOU! Have a great day!
