On a recent podcast, I believe you said you don’t program double progression (increasing reps and weight simultaneously), because you can’t use RPE with that method.
Why not? Is it too hard too judge accurately with reps changing from workout-to-workout or week-to-week?
This is from my IG live and the reasons I gave are why I don’t program the “double progression” method. I didn’t say you can’t use RPE, though increasing both reps and weight simultaneously make it more difficult to judge compared to previous, recent efforts.
