Double progression

I have a question about the double progression that is used in the new templates.

4-6 reps @ RPE 6/4 RIR. Repeat weight for 1 set of 4-6 reps. RPE/RIR can go up to 8/2.

When i use 225 pound for 4 reps 4 RIR whether in the next set I should do 6 reps if still 2 RIR?

Makes me wonder what is behind the first series being so light?

And in the examples in the PDF, sometimes the same weight for the same number of repetitions has the RIR increase by 2 like:
1 set 6 rep 225 pounds RIR 4
2 set 6 rep 225 pounds RIR 2
Is it possible to have such a drop in form while maintaining a proper break time ?

When i use 225 pound for 4 reps 4 RIR whether in the next set I should do 6 reps if still 2 RIR?

If you can do an additional 2 reps without going over the RPE cap, yes. I program it this way so that people do not use too much weight while trying to max out the rep range. Yes, people often rate subsequent sets harder than the initial set, though not always!
