Hey there. I’ve listened to a few podcasts and read some things about Dr. Darren Candow’s creatine research. His dosing recommendations are 0.1 gram per kg of body weight vs. .045 grams. This isn’t necessarily to gain any more benefits to the muscle (that can be attained at the 5 grams or so per day dosages) but more to benefit from the emerging benefits of creatine on the brain and bones he is finding. Have you read any of his findings and what are your opinions on the increased daily dosage? At my body weight that would be about 9 grams per day. Thanks in advance.
I’m not aware of any research on adults showing higher doses given orally do anything to bones, the brain, or other tissues. Thus, I don’t think I would recommend that.
Thanks Jordan!
