EAA supplementation for vegans

Hello! I am currently in the process of losing body fat and retaining muscle. However, I am also a vegan. I have read many of the forums about protein recommendations and for myself I would have to consume roughly about 160+ grams of protein per day considering that I’m 6’5” & 230 pounds and live a moderately active lifestyle.

I have been tracking my macros for the past week and have noticed that even with eating 3-5 meals a day with mostly protein, I still have a difficult time reaching those numbers while still remaining in a caloric deficit. Would you say that an EAA supplement could possibly help with this? Or should I try to find more protein rich options while cutting out carbs & fats?

I would probably try and increase your dietary protein intake via a protein supplement (over EAAs) or increasing the lean protein you get at each meal. If you can’t do that, EAAs would be fine.
