Early morning training and MPS

Hi,
I’m currently working out in the morning. Usually waking up at 5:30am and hitting the gym at 7am.
Any suggestion for how to time food intake for best possible result while maintaining a reasonable MPS window? Normally taking some oats and protein at 6 am and then eating an early lunch at approx. 11. Would it be more beneficial to eat a fairly substantial meal late in the evening (loading up) and take my “breakfast” after training and shoot up my lunch? I have no problem regarding late evening eating regarding sleep etc. but I don’t think my early morning shake will help my workout energy wise. Would it be better to start MPS after the workout or directly in the morning?

Thanks
Mike

I don’t think eating a large meal the evening prior within the context of eating enough food overall is likely to improve your performance the following day. I think what you’re doing now, provided it produces the correct daily intake for you overall- is fine. I would not train fasted.
