What are your thoughts on energy drinks. I find them becoming an almost daily habit and specifically I am relying on them more and more as a pre workout when I have to train late at night, which is a lot more common theses days.
I think they’re fine within the context of a person who is training, sleep well, and has an otherwise “good” diet. I don’t think you should be using caffeine for every workout outside of maybe the novice progression, but as long as you can sleep okay I do not think there is good evidence to suggest that energy drinks are bad (unless you work for CrossFit and then you can just make up whatever you like).
