Entry point question (pain in training)

Hi docs.

I’m on the second run of Low ISF 4 day template. On the first run I completely ditched accessary workouts which are 4th workouts of the day. My back and neck pain seemed to ease from the first run.

On the second run I tried accessary workouts since in the article, Pain in Training, it says unilateral and diverse movement might help with pain. Single leg leg press and triceps pushdown seem to give me really bad pain.

Actually when training, I don’t have pain. But right after the training session and for about 6~7 day my back and neck have really bad pain. The RPE and the weight for the workout were relatively low(@5~7. I leg press 300kg and fine but tried only 20~40kg for the single leg leg press which seemed fine during the workout).

Am I better off without accessary workouts for some periods and just do only 1st~3rd workouts of the day till my back and neck heal?

Or do I still need to find the entry point? Then do I even lower the weight and ROM for single leg leg press and triceps pushdown to find the entry point?

Thanks!
